Using your notch points at the side seam and shoulder seam, pin the sleeve into place.

Working slowly from the shoulder to the side seam on the front, start pinning every 1/4” or so, we do this initially to see if any easing will be necessary.

Then repeat for the back.

Gently distribute the sleeve into the armseye, being aware that there will always be a little more ease on the back for arm rotation and movement than the front.

Once you have a smooth sleeve pinned to the bodice and there is no puckering or pleating, Sew slowly at 5/8” starting at the side seam and working from the front to the back.
