And finally, onto construction!

WAISTBAND PIECES - FRONT BAND (2) AND BACK BAND (10) / ALL INTERFACED

Pin your front band to your back band, and sew using a neutral thread at 5/8”

Sew using matching your notches on both seams.

Find your center notches, and fold the length of the waistband in half, pressing it to create a permanent fold.

Turn one long edge up at 5/8” and press.

The raw edge will be attached to the outside of your bodice, and the pressed seam will be turned to the inside for either stitch in the ditch or top stitching. Sewers choice!
